If you don’t know me personally, you may not know about my fascination with music. Ever since I was a little kid, I have loved music and it has been a very big part of my life. Not only is it a part of each day, but I have started to compose my own music.
Instead of spending a lot of time creating large masterpieces, I have decided that my time would better be spent creating ringtones for my cell phone. These short and sweet pieces have had my friends get really excited about my creations and they want more.
What I have been doing is taking advantage of a mobile file sharing site to share my creations with my friends. This mobile site has allowed me to share my love of music with others. Speaking of that… I think I will go write a new tune…
There are a few musical groups that I absolutely love and I listen to their music every single day. Some of them are new and popular and some of them are older, but I still like their music just the same. I am really begin to music and always have been and I really do believe that music is the universal language.
For me, there is nothing better in life than to go to live shows and see your favorite performers on a stage. When I do this, it feels as though they are singing does to me and there’s no place I’d rather be than in the audience mesmerized on what they’re singing.
When I’m in my bedroom listening to CDs, I sometimes like to close my eyes and pretend that I’m just sitting there in the audience as my favorite performer is on the stage. It is a great fantasy and it is what I like doing best when I am feeling bored or upset.
I went to an art display at the University in our town a few weeks ago and I had a great time. I never knew I was into art, but I went with a friend just for something to do. I thought it would be a way to kill time that particular evening and I certainly had not planned on learning anything.
I learned a lot about different local artists, as well as some past and far away artists. I even purchased my very first print that night. It was by a British artist, who started out by doing graffiti on buildings in London. I liked his work, even if it is not all tasteful. It is all, somehow, meaningful.
I enjoyed looking at his pieces and when I saw that there was some Banksy signed art for sale. I decided to buy one. I hung it in my bedroom because my mom did not want it in the living room. It has two kissing police officers and she said it offended her. But, I love it and that is all that matters.
