Have you ever eaten a boring pancakes? Pancakes in and of themselves aren’t necessarily that exciting to begin with. It’s not hard to see that they are basically a boring meal. Not like donuts.

When you order pancakes at a restaurant or make them yourself, you probably get basic pancakes. Butter them up and drizzle with syrup and your good to go. Not too exciting.

If you want pancakes that are less plain and more flavorful, you can take one of two paths, or both if you want. You can either jazz up the batter or jazz up what you put on top. If you want, do both!

First, think about what kind of pancakes you want. Do you want to change the type entirely? There are lots of different flavors and varieties you can make. Why not try your hand at sour cream, potato, or chocolate pancakes?

Try adding stuff to a basic pancake recipe batter and then you can use a recipe that you know works. Add any kind of fruit such as berries, sliced bananas or strawberries, or something crazy. Throw in nuts or bits of chocolate bars or chocolate chips.

If you are afraid of adding stuff to the batter because you think you’ll mess it up, try adding it to the cooked pancakes. Instead of adding chocolate chunks to the batter, sprinkle it over top.

You can put any variety of stuff on top. You can turn them into a chocolaty sweet surprise, or you can be a little healthier by filling them with fruit and topping them with different kinds of fruit.

Once you’ve set up your masterpiece of pancake artwork, finish it off with some whipped cream and enjoy your feast. Create your work for guests and get people hooked on your pancakes.
