When I used to work as a clerk at a big-box department store, I had the opportunity to work at the customer service desk. Not only was there a lot of customer interaction, but we also had the honor of dealing with customers that were trying to return products that they weren’t satisfied with.

I do remember one particularly bad promotion that we had that resulted in a large number of returns. Basically our flyer advertised that we were selling the best coffee makers ever made. There was also a guarantee for the customers if they were to purchase either a best coffee maker or one of the best coffee pots and be unsatisfied with their purchase that we would give them their money back.

As it turned out, the products we advertised as being the best were actually some of the worst ones on the market. We started getting returns the first day the promotion and within a week we are getting pretty much 95% of all sales back to the store.

The management wasn’t very happy with the results of the sales and we quickly canned the promotion as soon as we could. The reason that they did this was that they had too many returns and were losing money each and every day.

Most people think that I create wonderful websites and web designs all by hand.  Sure, I could code everything from scratch, and it would work, but quite frankly, it would just take too much time.

So, I have relied on tools over the years to help me get the same amount of work done without spending too much time on any one task.  These tools have helped me to speed up my website creation process and have made it so I can also have some time off from work.

I mainly rely on my color picker software to find out what a particular color is if I find a site that has great colors.  The software package is instrumental in saving me time from trying to guess what color I am looking at - instead I know what it is in just a click or two.

I also like to use AMeta which is software that helps me to get my meta tags on my site done properly.  I tried once to do it by hand, but it was just too much work - the software makes it much easier for me.

Though I don’t use elaborate tools to design my websites, they do help me to get the work done and are essential for what I do for a living.

During my couple of years at University, I met a number of people from overseas.  Now, these friends that I had made were some of the smartest people that I have ever known, but they all possessed the same challenge: their English wasn’t so good.

Now, they were not discouraged as they benefited from the free English as a second language site that I found for them.  Instead of needing to find an English class that would work around the college classes that they were taking, they were able to study when they had the time - right at their computer.

For the longest time, my computer has been running really slow.  I mean, it runs slower than my ten year old computer in the basement and that really isn’t acceptable.  One of my good friends suggested that I might have a spyware problem - something that I had never run into before.

It isn’t often that someone comes up with a truly novel idea that is so simple that it should have just of been obvious.

I don’t want to sound ungrateful by any means, and in fact, I am trying to give a compliment to the inventor.  There is just something magical about watching an entrepreneur or inventor create an idea and make it materialize in the real world.

A good example would be what I saw when I was out today to buy TV screen protectors for work.  I had no idea of what to expect as I was just sent the store to go pick them up, but what I saw when the sales clerk showed me what I was looking for was pure genius.

You see, a tv screen protector is the obvious compliment to the newer televisions on the market.  In fact, go check them out - I bet you will kick yourself for not thinking of it first.

I know it may seem a bit strange to hear, but I really think that being diagnosed with cancer was the best thing that ever happened to me. It may have even saved my life. I was extremely overweight and I did not have a care in the world for all of the crap that I was putting in my mouth. After my diagnoses, I decided to see a naturopath and he suggested that I take spirulina tablets.

They were very effective in helping to rebuild my red blood cells and when I went into remission, I decided that I was going to change the way I lived my life. After some research, I learned about the great benefits of chlorella and it became a big part of my life.

I am happy to say that I am no longer even one pound overweight and I have never been healthier in my entire life. I do not think that I could survive without my daily dose of barley grass and I know if I miss it one day, I do not feel right.

I have always been very concerned with the quality of the products that I purchase.  Sure, you could argue that I would have to pay more for something that is of higher quality, but I feel that it is worth it - I have bought so many things that were very poorly made only to throw them away and, in turn, throw my money away.

When I moved to my new house, I looked into karastan rugs, as I heard that they were very high in quality and what I found is that these rugs were exactly what I needed.

I bought a karastan rug for several of the rooms in the new house and I was quite pleased with the results. The rugs did not shed little fibers everywhere and they looked great.

I have had several compliments on them and I do not think that I would buy anything but karastan again.
