I have designated today as my house cleaning day.  Alright, I am really not doing it because I want to, but the real reason behind the cleaning is to make our home presentable for the people that are looking to buy it.

I know that I wouldn’t want to buy a home that is really cluttered, so I thought that by getting the cleaning done, we would have a better chance of selling our home.  We really need to get top dollar on the sale so that we can buy a bigger house.

I started by cleaning the common areas of the house such as the kitchen and bathrooms.  Now, I am working on my bedroom, specifically in the closet.

It is amazing at the amount of junk I have in the room.  I have thrown out many things including some worldwide travel guides that I picked up back in the day before we went on a cruise many years ago.

I should quit blogging and work on the house - I have a lot to do.
