Two weeks ago, I enrolled in a computer class for beginners. The idea of enrolling in the class was to familiarize myself with how the Internet has changed, and what new things I needed to know about.
This week, the topic of the class was safe Internet surfing. According to the instructor, it is essential to protect your private information while you are online by some means, such as using privacy software or Anonymizer software.
We watched a video of how cyber criminals steal your identity and how smart choices before you venture online can make a big difference.
As part of our course, we were given a copy of Privacy Controls from ParetoLogic. We were taught how to use it to protect our critical information.
After attending this week’s course, I am so happy that I enrolled in it. If I hadn’t, perhaps I would have become a victim while online – who knows.
