I am in the market for some cheap computer data recovery software. I don’t want to spend a lot of money, as I just want it to play around with the old computers that I have lying around in the basement. My husband wants to get rid of them and I am curious to see what is on them.

We bought some good digital photo recovery software, so I checked into buying data recovery software from the same company, but it was very costly. I don’t want to spend a whole bunch of money just to curb my curiosity. I just think I could dig up lots of old memories and maybe a few laughs.

I explained this to him and he suggested that if the computers have been sitting down there for this many years and we haven’t missed anything yet, that recovery my files software is probably a waste of money and finding old files is probably an even bigger waste of time. He’s no fun sometimes.
