I am a concerned parent with a 3 month old daughter. What concerns me is that Cancer runs in our family as well as other genetic diseases. Up to this point I have been lucky not to get anything, but it may be inevitable.
But for my new baby, I can make choices that lessen the chances of her getting sick. All her baby food is organic and we use organic baby clothing and organic baby bedding. These healthy choices will help her have a better start at life.
The argument for organic baby clothes and bedding is that they are free from the chemicals and heavy metals found in factory made baby clothes and bedding. Some of these chemicals can cause Cancer, so by avoiding them you reduce your chances of developing Cancer or other diseases.
Does the price I pay justify the benefits for my child? You bet. My baby’s health is my first priority.
I have been known from time to time to help people out when they are need. I do this for a price, my advice is good, but it is not free. I tend to help out with financial problems and I am quite good at giving out solutions.
Just this past week, I had three people come and talk to me in various stages of financial need. For example, I had a woman come talk about how she was going to pay for renovation to her home. I suggested that she could take advantage of the many home improvement loans out on the market to find the capital to do the renovations.
I had another gentleman that came to talk about his increasing inability to keep up with his loan payments and mortgage. He was deathly afraid that he would lose everything and needed help. I showed him the solution to his problem: debt consolidation. I sent him to a company that I deal with that would help reduce his debt load and monthly payments, with the goal of getting him out of debt quickly.
Lastly, I had a woman in her early twenties ask me where she could get a down payment for a home she had put a bid on. It was a renal property that looked very promising, and she only needed $5000 for a down payment. I suggested that she could use a cash advance from a hard money lender to get her the money she needed in a short period of time. I think she will be using my advice for the deal.
So, there are many faces, and many needs when it comes to financial solutions. If you don’t have someone to ask for advice, take your search online – you may find the answers you need.
Quite a few people move each year for work related reasons. This year I will be counting myself in that group. I received a promotion in our company to warehouse manager and will be opening a new branch of our company in Asheville, North Carolina.
I have been spending the last few weeks packing and looking at Asheville real estate. There are just so many options to choose from that it is tough to make a decision.
Thankfully, I found some good online resources after doing a search for "real estate for sale Asheville". Many of these sites have listing with pictures so that I can make a semi-educated decision.
As for the "educated" part of the decision, I leave that up to my realtor. In fact, he is going to look at some Asheville Condos that I picked out and give me some feedback on them.
I just hope my move goes well. I think I will feel a sense of relief when I have a place to move into. Alright, I need to get back to packing – talk to you all later.
Recently, I hired Steve, a manager that I found through an executive search firm. We were looking for someone that had experience in running a real world and online business who could help take our business there.
He had worked for a number of companies that joined the dot com craze and I hoped that we could benefit from his experience. This was an area I wasn’t too familiar with, so I listened to his advice closely.
He suggested that we use an E-commerce software solution that he had used in the past and was familiar with. They helped us to setup our shopping site, and provided us with support should we need it.
Steve decided that we should let our human resources department go, and instead use an HR outsourcing firm instead. With the money we saved by outsourcing, we were able to bring on a marketing manager for our company.
So far, we have seen strong growth in our income under the direction of Steve and the new marketing manager Joleen. I am very happy that I followed his advice.
Now, I know that most of you are skeptical about things that are free. We have all been duped by someone offering us something for "free" but then we are supposed to buy something else. What really bothers me is that when we do run across something that is legitimate and free, we usually don’t take it, because we are afraid that there is some catch. What I want to offer you today is something I found that is free that has no catch. Keep an open mind as you read this article.
The other day I was submitting my site to a general directory and I noticed a sponsored link on the sidebar. I usually look over ads as I really don’t care for most of the things that are being advertised. But this one was something different that demanded that I take a look. It read: "8000 Web Directory Listings".
I was shocked! Now, I was sitting here working off my list of just 150 directories and there was a site that had a list of 8000? Needless to say, my small list ended up in the garbage. I had to click on the link to check it out.
What did I find? Well, I ended up at a links directory resource site that had listings for a lot of free and paid web directories. They had reviews, and a list of the best ones to submit your site to. Would you like to know how much it cost?
It was free.
I know I am going to take advantage of this free traffic resource, and you should too. This is one of those times that you do get something good for free.
My wife often asks me (about twice per week) why I don’t wear the shoes she bought me for my birthday. You see, she bought me some of those Crocs and I just think I look stupid in them. Sure, they are one of the most comfortable shoes that I have ever worn, but I feel like a girl when I wear them.
It is my fault that I have them. We had been shopping at a store that sold Croc shoes in summer and I tried some on. Man, they were comfortable. But, I found them to be unsuitable for me as I didn’t care for how I looked when I had them on. I noticed that they had some more "manly" All Terrain Crocs and I suggested to my wife that I would like those for my birthday.
So, when my birthday came and I had a shoe sized box, I was excited. I thought that I would get what I asked for for a change, and ripped open the package. What I found inside was the "girly" looking Crocs – not the ones I asked for.
I found out later that she had bought them while we were on the trip three months prior to my birthday, and we couldn’t return them – I was stuck with the embarrassing shoes. So, I tried to hide them, but she always asks me – and I don’t have the heart to tell her why I don’t like them (I don’t want to offend her or make her cry).
My husband has always been interested in real estate and owning rental properties has always been a dream of his. It didn’t take long for him to convince me that it was my dream as well. When he suggested that we start looking at property outside of the country, I knew we were in for the ride of our lives.
He found out that holiday rentals in Spain were doing very well and the price of properties was very reasonable. He thought we should go and look into some there. Never one to turn down a vacation abroad, I was all for it. We did a bit of research on the demand and rental rates for villa rentals and booked our flights.
When we arrived, we found a dealership that did motorhome rentals and decided to use one for our trip. We figured it would allow us to travel the country to do more research on where we should buy. We had a great time and I am happy to announce that we are now overseas property owners.
Now, there are plenty of ways that you can make money quickly illegally. I can think of examples such as selling drugs, stealing cars, and robbing a bank. But that is not what I am about to talk about here as it is probably not the best way to make money. Instead, lets talk about some legal ways you can make money quickly.
One example that I can think of would be to buy a house, renovate it, and flip it. Typically the process of purchasing and renovating houses can take as little as a couple weeks, or a few months. Usually you can expect to make tens of thousands of dollars after you have flipped the property which is pretty good.
Another way you can make money would be to invest in a high yield investment program. The way these types of program work is they give you a high interest rate over the life of your investment. They typically invest in the currency or emerging markets and it is not uncommon to see returns of one to two percent per day. This is better than anything your bank offers, but it is a riskier investment. Be sure to do your due diligence before investing.
As for other methods, I am not here to give you all the answers. Take a piece of paper and pencil and jot down the five quickest ways to make money that you know of, and feel free to post your ideas here.
Chances are if you have had acne, you have tried cleansers. For most of us, they just don’t work. I can remember as a teenager having the following two things happen when I did use a cleanser: I’d get a rash, and my face would hurt.
Thankfully, cleansers are not the option anymore thanks to the acne treatment alternatives on the market today. These alternatives cover everything from vitamins that should be in your daily diet, to prescription drugs. Lets take a look at some of these alternatives.
Now, I mentioned that vitamins can help you out with your acne. Specifically, Vitamin B5 helps regulate the amount of oil created in your body, which reduces and eliminates acne. Even though this vitamin is commonly found in your diet, you should supplement your diet by either taking a B-complex or multivitamin pill each day. This small increase in your intake of Vitamin B5 will have a big effect on your acne – for most people, it will be reduced, if not eliminated.
If vitamins don’t eliminate your acne, there are other alternatives like prescription and over the counter drugs. If you are looking for a solution with few side effects, and as easy to get as a trip to the drug store, then Vilantae is for you. It is derived from Vitamin B5, and has the same effect, though it is more powerful. The side effects are minor and can include diarrhea and stomach aches, but that is a small price to pay to look good, right?
Instead of using cleansers to get rid of your acne, take a look at the alternatives. Whether you choose something as simple as taking extra Vitamin B5, or using Vilantae, you can be sure that you are on the road to getting rid of your acne – isn’t that what every one wants?
Computers are much like humans – they work long hours and are prone to sickness. These illnesses can include viruses, spyware, and registry errors. Sometimes these problems can happen for a reason, or they just seem to happen by chance.
Thankfully there are ways to protect your computer and "cure" it from these problems. Most people have the first two problems covered as most computers have some form of anti-virus and anti-spyware software installed on their machines. But what about registry problems? Thankfully there are solutions for that as well.
While reading one of my favorite computer blogs today, they had a feature article on the best registry repair software on the market. Intrigued, I had to take a look. After reading a Regcure review and Registry Easy review, I was able to understand what these software products did. They could repair registry problems, optimize computer performance, while at the same time protecting your registry from dangerous changes.
Even though they did not clearly state which product was better, I felt that I had a better grasp of what I could do to maintain my computer’s health besides hiring a computer technician to do it for me.
